\section{Current Progress}
\label{sec:progress}
We have set up a testbed of 4 programmable APs
running customized OpenWRT firmware, with which we experiment joint channel
assignment, rate adaption and client association algorithms. On device side, we
modified \wifi{} driver of Nexus 5 devices to enable \wifi{} monitor mode, which
provides more detailed spectrum utilization information. We are currently
developing an \PS{} Android app. We are conducting small scale controlled
experiments, and are also preparing to deploy our system on
\PhoneLab{}---a large smartphone testbed operated at UB.
